This is a feature request for when playing content using the Windows player.
When playing there are controls on the bottom. However, there is no way from the player screen controls (that I know of), to mark as watched.
The only way to mark as watched is watch it to the end, or leave the live player screen, go back to the list of episodes, click the 3 dot menu and select that option.
PLEASE add this feature to the live viewing screen.
Why?
When watching an episode in a series, say episode 1 of 5 it is very common to decide not to watch to the end, or skip to the next episode with time remaining on the current episode.
The next time I run PLEX and click on that series from the main screen, it will pick up play from the episode I skipped and continue because it ‘sees’ that episode as unwatched.
When I decide to skip part and move on, I have to navigate out of the viewer, to the episode list and mark it as watched manually. Then when I run PLEX again, it starts on the ACTUAL place I left off, not a previous episode that just happens to still have time remaining.
I’m sure many others would like to see this added so play always resumes at the last spot we were watching, not the first available spot in any episode where unwatched media exists.
