I can browse the Movies, but thumbnails are gray in the main "On Deck" menu.  Upon navigating to a movie, details are loaded, but image is gray.  Whan attempting to play a movie, immediately receive "An error occurred loading this content."

Not sure if this is helpful for troubleshooting, but I was able to get everything up and running in OSX v10.10.3 using the same exact setup (different IP though).

You have ip_pms set to 127.0.0.1 so when the ATV tries to find the file its looking on itself. You need to use your 192.168.1.2 address is pms is on your Plexconnect machine.

Try using 192.168.1.2 as your IP in PlexConnect. To do this change the settings file to reflect this setting:

ip_pms = 192.168.1.2

 If that does not work please set the logging to "High" and post new logs, we can help you better with that :)

I had the same problem which was fixed by rebooting the ATV, so I know it sounds trivial, but it's worth a shot  :wub:

The combination of advice from drewbie, ostlerdev, and Thumpermat did the trick.  Sorry for the noob mistake.  I thought PlexConnected acted as a proxy for PMS and didn't realize it was actually redirecting aTV to the PMS content.

Thus, after setting the PMS to 192.168.1.2 and rebooting aTV, everything is working.

I'm hesitant to set things back to PlexGDM enabled and PlexConnect autodetect enabled as it seemed previously that even rebooting aTV did not do the trick with the auto detect features.  However, if you'd like me to try it again in order to fully close the loop on this thread, I'd be happy to.

P.S. I think the reboot played a significant role in resolving my issue, but unfortunately could only select one answer.  I would have gotten nowhere with a localhost specification for my PMS, so I selected this as the answer...  Sorry Thumpermat.  I really appreciate everyone's quick help though.  Glad to know that the community behind this great product is so strong.  Will be sending a donation to the creators very soon.
