So I had two servers setup under my account. I moved those machines into a new account and reinstalled Plex. I also installed a clean install under my previous account. The clean install has secure connections working perfectly. The two machines that used to be on my old account and are now under my new account do not have secure connections working. I’m thinking it has to do with a certificate hanging around somewhere that isn’t matching up. Any help on how to remove the old certificates would be appreciated. One is on OSX the other Windows Server 2016. Thanks in advance.
Shut them down.
When you restart these servers, make sure they have a working internet connection with unhindered access to plex,tv
They should help themselves to the proper certificate within the first few minutes after the restart.
If that still doesn’t work after 30 minutes and 1 or 2 restarts, try this and give them a proper machine reboot afterwards:
