Cannot access libraries in the Plex app and web from app.plex.tv

Yesterday I had a lot of problems with my server, but I managed to get things back on track. But after this happens I can’t access my libraries from the Plex app or from app.plex.tv, I just get this message.

“app.plex.tv is unable to connect to “SERVER_NAME” securely”

I’ve tried everything I can Google but nothing works? Anyone who can help?

If the server is running but you can’t connect to it, there are two situations.

You helped me with that yesterday, so that part is fine, the server is online and I Can access it from the local IP, but if I try to use Plex from my iPhone, tablet or PC via the app or app.plex.tv then I get the message above.

I got some news… I tried to Open Plex on my AppleTV and from there everything was fine so I tried on my iPhone again and this time it said that my login info was out of date so I had to login again, so I did and then I was able to select my sources so now that works, but I still can´t see them if I login via a browser to app.plex.tv, then it gives me the above message still.

This is awkward to do but ,depending on the browser – and especially the plug-ins you have – it can get messed up.

Best to do, Open the cookies / local data INSIDE the browser (probably under settings) and delete everything INSIDE the BROWSER for Plex then restart the browser.

You’ll need to log in again but that will clean the browser

Okay I found out something. For some reason all my friends did not have Library Access, so after giving it to them, all the librarys showed up right away, so right now, the only issue is that I can’t get access to my librarys from app.plex.tv? I have tried to reset both Safari and Chrome and wipe all data and settings, but it does still not work?

Also the Plex desktop app for Mac works fine, so its just the website?
