Cannot access the Claim Server screen or see the server after complete reinstall

Server Version#: 1.42.1.10060-4e8b05daf
Player Version#: 4.147.1

I am running Ubuntu 24.04.3 and after the recent password scare i changed passwords and checked the box for signing out of all devices. After that I could not reclaim my server. I tried a few different methods but in my haste to get the server running again I decided to uninstall the pms service and reinstall it again. The problem is that I am normally accessing my server through Tailscale MagicDNS, but because I recently moved and cannot easily access my server directly i tried using the normal Tailscale IPv4 adress to access the server.

Now my problem, I have access to all of my files, at least theres that, and I have an ssh tunnel and everything to my server itself, but if I try to access my plex server to claim it, or in my case to set it up, i just get put directly into my home screen, like i had just accessed app.plex.tv?

Now i don’t really know what else to try. If i would have direct access to my server i would just reinstall the OS, but because I can’t at the moment I would relly like to know if that is normal, that i cannot access the claim and setup screen through tailscale or if there is something I could do.

I will add the logs as soon as I can copy them to my pc.
