Cannot Add "Batman - The Animated Series" OR "Batman (TV Series)" to Library

I’ve tried Naming and Organizing Your TV Show Files, The Plex Dance, and everything in between but still no luck.

Can you perform a library scan wait 5 minutes and then post your server logs?

Both:
For TV shows, the TVDB/TMDB ID is only added to the folder name. I don’t know if it is a problem to add it to the file name (I’ve never tried it), but it is not needed.


Batman: The Animated Series

  • Remove the space between S01 and E01: S01E01 vs S01 E01.
  • Remove the dash in the show name: Batman The Animated Series vs Batman - The Animated Series. When there is an illegal character in the name, colon, question mark, etc, just leave it out. Do not replace it with another character.

Batman (1966)

  • Use the TVDB or TMDB ID. Plex does not use IMDB IDs to match TV shows.
  • /Batman (1966) {tvdb-77871}/Season 01/Batman (1966) - s01e01.mkv

The changes suggested by @FordGuy61 and a fresh scan of my TV Shows library appears to have resolved the issue.
