Yes, me too. I connected to chromecast, pressed play. No Volume. But the cast makes the noise indicating I’m turning it up and down and I can see what song I’ve selected in PLEX
As a secondary test I tried Tidal App. Works fine
Spotify also casts to audio just fine.
OK, so just now was offered an update on my phone. Presto. Sweet. Works fine.
Reboot tablet, device, etc go into plex again. Should offer an update.

Plex does play on my android but as soon as I connect to chromecast audio it stops. Any ideas why. There was an update to my device a while back. It stopped working right after the update. Samsung android phone .
Me too. I can cast GPM to the devices (Google Home Minis, Chromecast Audio, and JBL Playlist) and all of them work with that. Plex doesn’t work with any of them.
