Cannot claim any new plex server

Server Version#:1.32.1.6999-91e1e2e2c

I was running the server on a proxmox vm, without issue for several months, but I noticed that I had media that wasn’t being imported. I went through every troubleshooting step I could find without luck. I decided to rebuild the VM and claim it, but I couldn’t get the server to show up as claimable. I decided to remove and reclaim my original VM, and since then I have not see ANY new server I tried to create. I’ve purchased the lifetime plex pass and am quite fed up with this. Any assistance would be appreciated.

what steps were those?
I’m not sure if you’re getting an error when you attempt to claim your server, if the option isn’t available at all or if you’re stuck in a loop of “please download PMS”.
I assume you’re accessing your server locally, using the bundled version of Plex Web from within the same subnet?

You are correct, there is no error message at all. As far as troubleshooting goes, I coulnd’t tell you all the steps I took, but it ended with me removing my server from my account, in a hope to add it back. But I’ve tried on three separate installs to claim the server, but the option just doesn’t show up. The VMs that I’ve setup to run plex are ubuntu server based, and I get to the point where I’ve installed plex on the VM and go to the IP address of the new VM in the address bar, I sign in using my Plex account, but the new local server doesn’t show up anywhere to be claimed. All I can see is the same as when I login to app.plex.tv and sign in. I don’t know what else to do at this point.

Are you on the same subnet as the VM?
When you did a clean install… did you wipe any pre-existing Plex server directory information?

The subnet seems to have been the issue. I’ve rebuilt the VM again, but this time I made sure to try and claim it from a computer on the same subnet. I don’t understand why that is, I do use multiple subnets for logical division of my local resources, but all the subnets can talk to each other, there aren’t any segregated or isolated subnets. It’s just odd that Plex is that particular about it.
