Cannot claim server and angry about it

I have the latest qnap firmware .4.4.1.1216
and the latest qnap PMS
1.18.7.2457-77cb9455c#:
Plex Media Server Logs_2020-02-26_00-17-55.zip (5.1 MB) #:

I paid for a pass 3 months ago and have had nothing but trouble since then. I want some support for this and apparently this is what a man has to do to get the ear of a damn tech at plex. Im livid.

when i go to claim the server a login window pops up and i login and then there is an error window that pops up saying cant sign in or there was a problem signing in. I scoured the forums for a solution and im guessing my token is bad or something. guess you are going to tell me to delete a rehistry entry for the token.

If you want someone to be livid at,

You’ve made 1 topic and 1 post under this name.
You did get your Plex Pass in December.
What took so long to ask for help?

  1. Thanks for the logs, they are showing me problems.
  2. PMS on the QNAP cannot get to the internet.
  3. As a result, it can’t get to your account.
  4. Until it does, it’s not going anywhere.

From that block, look at:

http://plex.tv/pms/:/ip (0, No error) (ÿÿÿÿ)

It can’t even get the error message/info right.

We can sledgehammer the installation, without starting over, if you’re willing and if your QTS installation isn’t corrupt.

At this point, there is something wrong with the networking at minimum so all bets are off.

What are your wishes?

Just not used to paying for services and not having a number to call. It’s a brave new world. Thank you for your speedy reply. Becoming less annoyed by the moment.

So I’m using a wired connection to my NAS so I’m not sure why it can’t see the NAS’s connectivity.

All my other web enabled apps on the NAS are working and seeing outside the LAN such as google mail backup agent and remote backup to carbonite.

Let’s apply the sledgehammer.

how do I apply this sledgehammer?
