I have a Synology NAS DS916+. Plex has been running fine for months, and in the last couple of weeks, I have been having connectivity issues from my LG TVs. If I log into the web client, it all looks OK, and then the TV can see the server.
So I decided to try and fix it and removed all the remote servers, and the local server from the Devices list. I did a complete reinstall of Plex, and now when I try and claim the server, it just times out and never completes.
I am connecting locally at home to the NAS/Plex and its on a flat network.
I have attached logs.
Tried everything…PMS reinstall , conf.xml renaming , remove all devices , sign out everything reboot Synology millions times , changed/added DNS.
I’m an IT expert …believe it or not…rebooting switch/router DID IT!!!
I think it’s probably something like ARP caching with port blocking in somewhat port 32400.
