I recently got a Used Netgear NAS, made a test volume, installed plex, tested, everything worked fine. I was ready to move forward with a proper setup on it, I deleted the volume and made a new one, so that it would not be named ‘test’ anymore and have reinstalled plex. No matter what I do, I can’t claim the server now.
Have tried the two most recent versions, changing DNS server to 8.8.8.8 from my router and back again. It appears in the dashboard as if I cannot sign in to Plex on that NAS. I have a windows Plex Media Server that is still working fine. Any thoughts?
When I added the server, it still allowed me to add libraries, and the folder structure appears correctly that is on the NAS, so it is making some contact…
