Hi, This didn’t work for me unfortunately, getting error “There was a problem signing in to Plex”.
I am signed in though.
Same problem as 1 & 2 described above. On Synology NAS DSM7 with plex server 1.23.6.4881-7000 (e2e58f321) installed. (plex indicating update is available…but there isn’t)
I’m having the same issue. PLEX has been working just fine for many many months and then all of a sudden, can’t connect. I’ve tried the steps as provided by Trumpy81…I was at least able to see the NAS drive again. But I’m unable to claim it.
I have a Synology 920+, DSM 6.2.4-25556, PLEX 1.24.0.4930-6000
Also…PLEX seems to think there is an update package, though as far I as know I’m on using the latest for DSM 6.0+
When it says “Reboot the modem/router and everything connected to it, including any wireless devices.” How explicit is this? I ask as I have many devices connected…ie HVAC Thermo, Smoke detectors…etc. Some items are cumbersome to shut down…it’s almost easier to flip the whole house breaker to reboot everything…haha
What do you know…turns out all I had to do was go into Synology>Control Panel>Network>General and click to manually configure DNS server… I then did that with 8.8.8.7 and 8.8.8.8… wallah it now claims it…
Odd that for all of the time I’ve had the NAS and Plex, I never needed to manually configure…but for some reason now I did…
What about that notification that and update is available. Is that only saying that as there is an update to DSM 7, even though I’m on 6?
Yeah you may be right… newly added movies are not pulling in data such as poster, background…all the good stuff… but for now I at least have access to the library and able to claim it.
