Cannot connect to Plex Media Server after new router

Hi all

I used to have a successfully running plex media server on my Synology NAS ds215j, backing up all my media to backblaze.

We then had Virgin installed, and with their Super Hub 3 had all sorts of problems with the server and backblaze. So I finally took the plunge and bought a synology router and using the Virgin router in modem mode.

That’s now all set up, with internet, WiFI and connection to DSM working fine.

I still couldn’t access my plex media server, so I uninstalled it.

I’ve now re-installed Plex Media Server on the NAS. It’s ‘Running’. But when I visit the packaged web app - my-nas-ip:32400/web I can see none of my shared media, and there are no server settings in my settings page. So there’s no way for me to connect a server.

I have tried logging out and back in.

And I can see the plex media server in the authorized devices in the web app.

I thought by re-installing the package it would prompt me to go through the server setup again, but it’s like there is no server to setup.

My NAS has been sent to DHCP, not sure if that’s relevant.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks for the help!
I’ve followed the above steps as best I can.
After renaming the preferences file and restarting, waiting several minutes, I just get black screen when navigating to my web server address

Tried Chrome and Firefox - same thing.
It shows the Plex logo for a second, and then the familiar grey plex background for a sec, and then all black like the above screenshot.

Thanks. Here are the logs.

Thanks again for the help. This is where I’m stuck, I don’t know how to check the network stuff.

I checked the checksum and they match.

Changed my DNS server as suggested (it was set to Auto before)

Is that just for IPv4 ? And should I do anything after changing it?
I stopped and restarted the Plex service.

Same behaviour being seen as before

Thanks!
Will try it tomorrow when I have a window to disconnect our internet
