Hi all, I know this question has been asked multiple times in the past, but I cannot seem to find out how to access my local Plex server on my Synology NAS from the web client. I can access everything no problem from either 1) the Synology’s direct IP address or 2) any app on any iOS device. However, from web I am always getting the same error: “app.plex.tv is unable to connect to “server” securely”. I have made sure to claim the server from my Synology NAS, checked all the settings (including confirming that Secure connections is set to ‘preferred’) and gone through multiple suggestions from other forum posts, but nothing seems to work. Similarly, for some reason when using a Tailscale VPN, I also cannot access the Plex server, even on the iOS app.
Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this or what settings I need to check?
