Cannot connect to QNAP server

I am trying to connect my QNAP server to Plex but it keeps failing.

When I go to forums to see what help there is, everyone suggets a reinstall on both sides (both Plex and Qnap). This does not work.

Other suggestions all seem to involve going into ‘Server’ or ‘Authorised devices’. None of the headlines are even available to click on!

Any help would be welcome

Also tried a server restart. PLEX recognised there was an error. Recommended that I post on the forum and post the error log by going to “settings-manage-troubleshootings”

Of course, ‘manage’ doesn’t exist. Neither does ‘troubleshootings’. What a joke

And please describe your setup with as much details as possible, like:

  • Model of QNAP
  • Details about what failed
  • Overall setup

Currently, you have given us nothing to work with here :wink:
