Cannot find my server in Setup Wizard

I had to hard reset my Synology NAS DS920+ over a password issue. Since then I have tried numerous times to reconnect my Plex Media Server with my shares. Whenever I try to open the Plex Media Server on the web or through the DSM interface, it tells me I need to select a server, but my server is not on the list. The shares are set to read/write status with Plex. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled Plex Media Server in every way possible (keep files, lose files, delete everything) and nothing is working. What am I doing wrong?

The easiest method is to use the Plex Claim Token installation method to reclaim it.

Here is the How-To.

I’ve done this several times – no dice. On login, Plex goes straight to the wizard, showing me all the accounts I have access to, except my own. I want the home page to display my own server as the primary, not someone else’s.

All of my shared library folders are available and my plex user on the DSM has read/write access to them. This has never happened to me before, and I’m happy for any additional support!

Open FileStation -

Navigate to PlexMediaServer/AppData/Plex Media Server

Right-click LogsCompress to Logs.zip

Download that zip and then attach here.

We’ll see WTH is going wrong
