Cannot find server

Since the new update this last week I’ve not been able to use the Xbox one app. IOS and web work fine, but I continually get server not found.
Tried updating my Asustor Plex Server to the latest version 0.9.12.4 and it continually says there’s a new version available, but then when I download it, it tells me i’m already on that version.

Tried signing out of accounts and resigning in, still no luck. Getting a bit fed up :frowning:

Should this be xbox one or Asustor - wasnt sure where to post it…

Looking at your Plex account information, it appears that your Plex Media Server hasn’t been signed in for a few months. That’s required for the Xbox One app to be able to know how to connect with the server.

Thanks Chris, i did actually follow that guide previously and have signed out and signed back in on both the server and the xbox one app. Still the same issue.
Good to have the forum back by the way

Have the same issues, did the Xbox One update from Plex Pass and am unable to resolve the issue. Uninstalled app login, logged out. Changed password. Still no luck.

Did this recently start or is it something that has been occurring? Have you verified that your server is signed in as well as the app?

It started immediately after the xbox one update. It was operating normally with no issues for quite a long time. I have thus far, uninstalled and reinstalled plex from xbox one, pc, and updated the NAS for ARM on synology 213. reinstalled thinking something is corrupted, now I am at a point where the server shows and I can connect but it says that I am offline, therefore no media shows.

Got mine sorted yesterday. For whatever reason my Asustor had stopped connecting to the Internet. Once I’d sorted that out and updated the OS, everything seemed to kick back in to life again.
Strange that it only started happening once the Xbox app had been updated…

One of my ‘friends’ cannot access my Plex server. There was a recent Plex update (they added an icon for ‘Players’) - not sure if that is the culprit. Anyone?
Update: he can access via 4G on his cell but not via his iPad browser. Everything looks OK from my end.

You posted in the Xbox One forum, but your report appears to have nothing to do with XB1. A connection being available from one network (4G) and not another (wifi) generally indicates there’s an issue on the network where the connection doesn’t work. For instance, many businesses (e.g. network at work) restrict things in such a way that you won’t be able to connect to a Plex server.
