Cannot load plex server from qnap after macos 15.6 update (sequoia)

Ive had the qnap nas for a few years now and since updating the macos to 15.6 - the plex server does not load anymore. Ive tried fire wall settings etc and cannot work it out.

That would be a MacOS problem.
Google search shows a number of problems with it.

What is the problem?
PMS is on the QNAP or the Mac ?

The PMS is on the qnap.

When I click on the server icon from the qnap server - it tells does not work and suggests i look at my firewall settings (ive done so and still does not work)

I then go to my plex web and all my media isnt showing up at all.

Let me know if you need any more info

I’m not sure if you understand the concept of Plex Media Server.

The server part of the application generally runs on a single host (PC, NAS, Mac, etc.). Though you can have multiple servers, it is more common to have just one, running on a single host.

Then, you have the client applications. These can be installed/run on many devices (phones, tablets, TVs, set top devices, etc.).

The logs you provided are from a Plex Media Server running on macOS. If you have a PMS installation on your QNAP NAS, and that’s where you’re having problems, you’ll need to provide logs from that server.

Is just your media on the NAS inaccessible from your PMS running on macOS? Or do you really have a PMS installation on the NAS?

i understand - but how can i get the logs from that server when it refuses to connect to that server that im having the issue with?

is there another way to get hold of the logs for the PMS that i cannot log into?
