Cannot Match Movies and Shows anymore

Player Version#: 4.136.1

Suddenly I cannot match anything anymore. It doesn’t even do a search, it just instantly says “no matches found”.

Naming hasn’t changed and all my old shows always matched perfectly. I still use the same: Show-Name (Year)\Season 01\Show Name - S0XE0X - Episode Name.ext

I have also tried adding {tmbd-XXXXX} and {tvbd-XXXXX} and I have tried using the same in the search field for match. Same issues.

I am wondering if there is an issues that my Server cannot access the Agent libraries due to the fact that I am in China and maybe those libraries are all blocked now? But I can access the websites (plex.tv/www.thetvdb.com/www.themoviedb.org) all without issues, without the need for a VPN.

Is there any way to debug and see what’s causing this issue why I cannot match anymore?

Hi Chris,

Thank you for sharing this. So, according to this it is related to my location here in China… Guess I gotta find a way to get my Synology hooked up to a VPN. Thanks!
