Cannot restore purchase from Apple account

I am unable to restore a purchase on my iPhone. I activated plex on my iPhone by paying the 4.99 fee. I now have a new iPhone and when I try to restore the purchase on it, it keeps telling me theres no existibg purchase with my Apple ID. Can someone please help? It’s really frustrating . Thanks in advance

Well, did you use the same username/email/Apple ID to sign into the Apple account
like you used on the older device where you bought the app?
