Cannot update Metadata when on VPN with 1.18.9.2578

I used to have metadata for new TV Shows and Movies working flawlessly and I didn’t have to touch anything. This also worked when I had my VPN on and the VPN app excludes the Plex Media Server which effectively should route all traffic through the ISP instead of the VPN.

Now I cannot get the new TV Show and Movie metadata, but it seems like it works when I disconnect the VPN.

Any help?!?!?

Yeah it seems to work before… should technically work since the server isn’t being routed through the VPN… it is excluded.

And if I disconnect from the VPN it seems to work… but again… that shouldn’t have any bearing since it is an excluded app.

I use PIA exclusion and it just works, Catalina and all.

They have BETA with Wire Guard, now that an interesting project. It about time Open VPN had a competitor as such.

You could Roll back Plex, it not that hard.

What is PIA exclusion?

And how would I rollback? I have never done it…
