Cannot use remotes numberpad

Channel number/Name: any

Is there an option that will allow me to go to a channel number by using the numberpad on my remote? Scrolling is nice, but it takes ages.

Similar problem here: the numbers are not working, just the arrows and the “OK”. The TV is an old LG TV.
