There are some postings I made in the Plex Pass forum when I used to be a Plex Pass member. Recently some of those postings seemed to get comments from other users, then I get spammed whenever I use this forum saying “You’ve asked questions that now have answers. Make sure you accept/reject the answers.” to accept/reject answers I no longer have access to. This is very annoying since they’d not go away even after I changed my preferences to mute all notification.
I think the forum should at least allow me to access my own posts in the Plex Pass forum to deal with this kind of issue. Otherwise please don’t show me any notification which I can’t deal with.
That’s a Vanilla forum software thing. Believe me, I’m not a fan of it either. If you let me know what threads are spawning the messages I can change it from a question to a discussion, which should stop the notifications.
I just updated that post and re-marked it as not answering the question. That should stop the messages. I consider this a bug in the Vanilla forum software, because if you edit a post after it’s been marked, it sends you messages but doesn’t allow you to answer the question. In fact, it doesn’t even let you know that it doesn’t treat the message as not answered.
