I can access my Plex server with my android app, Laptop but I’m not able to access the Plex server via TV apps at my son’s house, I have one fire stick and a new Samsung TV. It works fine from my house on all the TVs, my son just had a new internet installed.
I have an exclamation mark next to remote access and some times I see a check mark.
What you have is a problem with address translation. It is frequently called Network Address Translation or NAT. And while sort of true it depends on context what it sees.
You have two options here. First is to try UPNP with your router. This depends on router and all you need do is try the Retry button. If this shows as working then goes away, your UNP request did not work. If this is the case you can select the port manually. But then you need to configure that NAT/PAT/DNAT (like I said depends on context) on your router manual.

Beyond that I would have to know what OS you run Plex on, what model Firewall (maybe a combined unit, or provided by your ISP), and if your external IP address is not part of the reserved space (like 100.x.x.x which indicates a double NAT).
I use WD My Cloud PR2100 as a server at my house, I have a TP-Link Archer AX-6000, my son has a TP-Link AC-4000. from my son’s house we can access my server on two TVs using fire sticks, his laptop and android phones, he just bought a Samsung Q-80 TV with a built in what seems like a fire stick, he can access Plex free movies from your website but it will not connect to my Plex home server. His home is 200 feet away from me and sometimes he can connect to my LAN and access my home server, but if he’s on the WAN coming through his router he can’t access my home server saying Server not available, only on the Samsung TV. Tell him to go back from the “preview” Samsung app (which has been made the default a few days ago) and try again.
He might also try to go into the settings of that app and “prefer unsecure connections”, which does put a lighter load on your server.
I have had a thread on this forum with this exact same problem. It is closed now with no resolution. Tonight we are watching a show from a remote server via app.plex.tv on my laptop connected to our Samsung tv but the Plex app on the tv cannot connect to the same server. This seems to happen in the 1st week of every month. It is like the Samsung Tizen app has PMS.
