Can't Add DVR

My live tv was lookinjg horrible. It looked fine in the HD HomeRun App but Plex on all clients looked like garbage.

Tried deleting the DVR and now I can’t add it back. When I select English and enter my zip code, it won’t let me select Continue.

I also got hit by this today. Luckily I stumbled across this post which linked to the planned outage.

That said, I’d like to make a two part feature request due to the limited transparency (for someone that doesn’t frequent the website)

  1. the ability to skip obtaining guide data (I can come back and fix the guide later, as an end user I want my TV to work now, even if it’s without guide data)
  2. a better notification system when outages (planned or unplanned) occur. Personally, I’d like to see a list of options including: in the player, in the server/local web UI, email and/or push notification
