Cant connect the tv to plex

downloaded the app on my smart tv.
downloaded the app and media server on my pc, win. 10
on the tv screen it says that i have to type 4 digits in the web to connect but there are no any digits, it’s grey empty

when i try to choose select player it says “no device found”.

Have you tried this?

Easy and been shown to work perfectly. I have a 2011 TV FYI and and continue using Plex no pb.
There is also a more sophisticated fix you can find on the forum, where you set a proxy server, and then you are not just connected locally, if that is important to you.
