I have a 2012 model which had exactly the same issue at the beginning of this month, and it is very easy to fix as already reported in some other posts: In plex on the desktop, in Settings > Network, make sure ‘Secure connections’ is set to ‘preferred’ and not ‘required’ and enter the IP addresses of your TVs in ‘List of IP addresses and networks that are allowed without auth’. Easy and been shown to work perfectly. I have a 2011 TV FYI and and continue using Plex no pb.
There is also a more sophisticated fix you can find on the forum, where you set a proxy server, and then you are not just connected locally, if that is important to you.
