hello. please for the love of god if somebody has any idea or suggestions please help. long story short, my 1 year old Samsung TV can always connect to my Plex Media Server when my TV is connected on WIFI, but just doesn’t want to connect when my TV is connected with a ethernet cable.
please if you have any questions or whatever i can give you all the additional information, i can tell you anything if someone needs any more from me. please help. TV is Samsung UE55KU6072 and my Plex Media Server is on my desktop PC.
Well, im no plex expert but i would suggest deleting those pictures asap as less then desirable people can use them for not fun things. More to the point, i would advise trying to setup a “static” ip address, what probably happened is that your IP changed and it lost connection to the server, this can happen for alot of different reasons, but basically, rather then getting automatically, set it yourself, make it any number you want and keep all the info the same. This way the server always knows what IP to look for, thats the best advice i can offer you.
i already spoke with my internet provider and they can’t help because the problem isn’t on their front, also called my TV service and help and they also can’t help because everything else like youtube, netflix, etc all work with no problem, only on Plex i can’t connect to my Plex Media Server.
