Can't find Library after resetting Chrome

Server Version#: 4.34.4
Player Version#: 4.34.4

Server is running on WIn10 64-bit accessed via Chrome web app.

I needed to reset my Chrome browser (did a ‘Clear All Browsing Data’ to perform a full purge of all cache, page history details, etc.). Now when I launch Plex it’s not finding my local Library movie files no matter what I do.

The server is running (I see the icon on my tray) and I’m logged in. I tried using Settings to re-link the old Library (I assume it’s still saved someplace?) or to ‘Add Media’ (if the Library was deleted - all my media files are still on my HDD), but there’s no way to do so on any menu I can see.

Can someone please tell me how to re-access, or re-create the Library after Chrome has been reset?

UPDATE:

I have this library Shared on two Rokus in my house, and BOTH of them can access the library! It’s only the browser-based player (using Chrome) that doesn’t work.

How the heck do I get my Library back on the web player???

UPDATE #2:

Tried some suggestions from Reddit, none of which worked:

  1. Tried launching in different browser (Edge): FAILED (no way to Add/Scan/Edit Libraries)
  2. Tried using a ‘127 address’ in the browser, i.e. http://127.0.0.1:32400/web/index.html#: FAILED (was already using that URL in the browser)
  3. Tried making a New User and making a new library: FAILED (the new account also has no way to Add/Scan/Edit Libraries)
  4. Deleted the Chrome device and logged out/in to ‘Restore Access’: FAILED (Library still not showing in the web player)

The Roku devices accessing the server ARE STILL WORKING, so I can watch my media files on a TV, just not on my PC.

QUESTION: Should I consider doing a full wipe of the server and all associated Library files and just starting over? How does one do that to assure every last trace of Plex is wiped out to assure a nice, clean restart?

EDIT: I found this article on the Plex site - is this still the accepted best way to completely and totally remove all traces of Plex?

After taking a look at your account, I’d say that your server and your Rokus are using a different plex.tv account than your web browser.

Yes, web browser and server, even if they run on the same machine, can use different accounts.

You have 2 options:

  1. determine the plex account which the server is using, by looking into the Windows registry.
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Plex, Inc.\Plex Media Server\ key PlexOnlineMail
Then log out your web browser and log in to the same account the server is using.
  2. log out the server and your Rokus from their currently used account. I cannot tell you how to do it for the Rokus, but the procedure for the server is this one: https://support.plex.tv/articles/204281528-why-am-i-locked-out-of-server-settings-and-how-do-i-get-in/
You will lose all shares you may have created for other plex users. If you don’t want that, use method 1)
