I’m having a problem with certain videos when using the Plex Desktop Player on Linux (Ubuntu 22.04). I hear all of the audio except for the dialog. If I play the same video using the Plex Web Page it works.

Most likely, you need to configure the audio output to stereo, instead of 5.1 or 7.1
In the settings of the player, that is.
