Can't log in via Android app, but can in browser

When I try to log into my Android app using my Plex credentials, I get “User Can Not Be Authenticated”. But when I select “Sign in with browser” it works, and then I’m good to go in the app.

What’s the hiccup here? I’m authenticated fine in the Plex app, just not the PlexAmp app.

almost certainly some networking issue between Plexamp and plex.tv with your device in the middle. you can upload Plexamp logs after attempting to log in.

Thanks. Attached. Just to add to the info, this was happening when I’m at home on my own network and also on mobile data away from home.
