So first, I want to be clear that as a Premium subscriber, posting a message in this forum is THE only support I get? No support ticket, no email, just community support?
I have several PC’s and media devices logged into my account but when I try to login on a new pc running windows 10, like my other PC’s, it insists I am using the wrong credentials. What could be different that my creds are not working on the new device but on all others?
Some day ago, my plex stopped streaming. Later i found i can’t log in to “web” plex or directly to plex.tv (always redirecting , looping ) – Later i found that “chrome-like” browsers are having issue with “new auth” method and when i used Firefox i was able to login to plex.tv (finally!!!) and run the app.
Also instead of localhost i had to use loopback-ip(127.0.0.1), normal ip or locahost or mydomain was not worked for some reason.
Still, I was not able to claim my server, until i made the changes in registry (using some guide fromthis forum = removing PlexUser/PlexToken and such entries).
It did not work as well, so i used this

… and manually reinstall the PMS. Later using firefox to log in to plex.tv (from computer without PMS installed). also i removed all authed devices/clients. later i was able to claim it back and after seting sharing stuff back , all went to normal.
