I’ve been trying for a few months off and on to log in to my Plex account. I’ve had to use an alternate e-mail to make a new account just to get in here to try and get some support. I have an account with an outlook.com e-mail address and 2FA on it, but I can’t seem to login or recover it. It let’s me even reset my password, but still won’t let me log in so I assume it’s something to do with my 2FA. I have all my recovery codes, but I’m unsure where I put them in to recover so I can remove it.
Can someone give me some guidance on what’s wrong with my account or how I can recover it?
when signing in after you enter your usernname or email and password then another screen will show that asks you for the 2FA code. you enter the recovery code instead.
That’s what I did, but it still say wrong credentials. I have a set of 10 recovery keys. I guess I could try a few others.
No luck, despite it letting me reset my password it’s like the 2FA is working, but the username password isn’t. I have a lifetime subscription for my plex, but now I can’t get to my server to watch my shows. What should I try next?
