Good day, I have been using PLEX for years and started using 2FA when it first was released. It has worked great.
Recently I lost my phone that I had my Google Authenticator installed ( with Plex credentials) and had to reload it. When I did I no longer can use it to supply the auth codes for PLEX.
I have tried to authenticate by having PLEX send emails to my email address on file multiple times, but I NEVER receive any emails from Plex. I have checked my email account and it is accepting emails, I checked my spam folder, and they are not in there. I am at a loss what else to do. I can get in to my Plex account from my authenticated devices, but I cannot add any new devices or change any settings that require 2FA.
I have no idea where they are it was so long ago. unfortunately, if they were sent via email my email server was changed to ms365 a few months back by godaddy and I do not have access to my old emails.
I have dug through all of my folders, and I cannot find any recovery codes from PLEX. I should be able to verify via my email, but I am not receiving the recovery email from plex for some reason (I have verified my email is working and they are not in my spam folder). What are my options? I don’t mind reloading Plex on my server BUT I have a lifetime subscription linked to this email account and do not want to lose it.
