Can't open Plex from Qnap?

I went to the folder , /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/PlexMediaServer/Library/… and didn’t find any plexmedia server log files…

it try to open …myqnapcloud web page with 32400/web
beyond me, I need help!

From a browser, on a workstation on the same IP net as your QNAP, browse to:

http://IPOfQNAP:32400/web

/T

No Luck there, with that address. the address actual turns into " ipofqnap:32400/web.
it doesn’t load anything.

It says plex is running, but i am a bit unsure that it really is.

In the url I provided you with, you did have to replace “IPOfQNAP” with the ip address of your QNAP

DOH, ok, but it still isn’t working…http://www.192.168.1.176:32400/web. no go…
i did notice this. when i try to start plex.

not sure if its actually starting?

side note. nice read me first document. I can’t find anything in there to help me either…
can i throw this into the wall yet! :-<

oh ■■■■…i got this…
but web address doesn’t load…i know it may take some time…gonna leave it…c what happens…

Make that:

192.168.1.1:32400/web

And I assume, that your workstation has an IP address, that starts with 192.168.1.X ?

And the error you see, is most likely cosmetic

no luck…man …why me!!! what am i messing up.

does this look normal?

what did i do now…i tried to make a static ip address…192.168.1.176. but something went wrong?

oh ■■■■. it just loaded…i’ll keep you posted…

■■■■, i get this now…

ok, well, i just added a small library… no idea what i did. things i did, static ip… turned off all other apps on qnap, didn’t claim server, just added a library manually, via the very ftp wish way… they give you, oh, i created a separate folder via ftp, called it plex, instead of using the multimedia folder, i read somewhere that was a smart thing to do…now going to check if it works using phone to send to bleary player and roku…wish me luck…

well, roku works…music files as for now, and blue ray always worked, i use an app called local cast for the blue ray, the app sees the flex server, and sends it right on over…plex app on iOS, only sees the roku, with the plex app synced to my phone with the 4 digit number. now to add some movies videos etc… well see how the roku does there, and the flex server, if it will transcode…tomorow…also, gotta c about multiple hard drives attached to snap, and if plex will play from them…wish me luck, night ALL!

Hi, Hoping someone here can help. I have a TS-451+. I set up the Plex Media Server and it was working well for me. Recently the Plex app stopped opening from the QNAP interface. It opens a new browser window and then says the page (http://[servername].myqnapcloud.com:32400/web) can not be found. I’ve uninstalled the Plex Media Center app using App Center, then manually installed the newest Plex Media Server package from the Plex site but am having the same issue. Any suggestions on what’s wrong? or what I should try next?
