Can't see server after ISP change and re-install

Hello,

We’ve recently changed ISPs and because of this there has been a complete re-configuration of the home router. Not sure if this is the reason we have had problems, but we are currently unable to see the server. If we go to http://localhost:32400/web/index.html it just says “looking for servers”. There are several people who seem to have had problems with this in the past, but no definitive solution.

In desperation, I removed Plex, downloaded the latest version and installed it, but the result is the same.

Running on Linux Mint 18.3, if thats of any use.

Thanks!

Paul.

Does your host have a static network configuration?

If so, and it doesn’t match the subnet & gateway address the new ISP equipment provides, it goes nowhere.

The best first step is to switch the computer to Dynamic (DHCP) network addressing and get it talking to the internet again

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

The computer is on DHCP, and is connecting to the Internet correctly - I am typing this reply on it.

Best Regards,

Paul.

Paul, I will need your logfiles to see what’s happening. If you have Verbose logging enabled, please turn of and restart PMS so I get a clearer view of the sequence.

Then collect them and attach the ZIP file it gives you
