Can't select TV Shows under Add to Library

A suggested solution in another topic was to go into xteve and edit the channel to be “series”. I tried that, restarted everything, and have made multiple efforts down that rabbit hole to no solution.

When I click record my only choice is “movies”, but my server clearly has TV Shows and Movies. But only option for recording is to movies.

I’m using xteve and plex media server, and I’m not a noob, been using plex for many years. All my channels work perfectly, just don’t have the drop down option for recording to TV Shows.

If the item is considered a Movie in the EPG it will only give option to save it to a movie library location. if the item is a TV show in the EPG it will only give the option to save to a tv show location.

I don’t want to seem unappreciative, I mean, I really would like a solution to this problem. Little House on the Prarie is a TV Show.

Are you using Xteve for your EPG data?

We don’t make Xteve. I have no idea why it might be considering something a movie and not a TV show. I can’t provide a solution for software I know nothing about. If a tv show it needs season and episode number info.
