So, I have a rather massive DVD/BD collection, and I often get the iTunes digital copies with the BDs. I’ve downloaded those in iTunes and then used TunesKit to remove the drm from them, then I load them up into Plex. Everything works fine; Plex plays the movies without any errors, but the other day I tried to sync a movie with my iPad for a trip, and it failed. I ignored it because I didn’t want to mess around with it (had some packing to do), but now I’ve done more troubleshooting and it seems ALL my iTunes digital copies fail with the same errors.
This is confusing because Plex can play the file just fine, but won’t convert it to sync with the iPad. Anyone else try stripping the DRM from their iTunes files and then sync it up? Anyone know if this is a problem that can be solved on my end, or it’s something that the Plex devs have to deal with on a server update?
Here’s the error - it’s essentially the same thing with every de-drmed iTunes movie I’ve tried.
