Capped 25mbps

I’ve set up a Plex Media Server using the free version. I invited a friend who lives separately to access my libraries.

He has already set the video quality/output on his TV to the maximum, but Plex only allows him to stream at 25 Mbps.

I’m not very familiar with networking or Plex’s technical settings. Could someone help me figure out what might be limiting the streaming bitrate and what settings I need to change on my side?

What’s the internet upload speed you get from your ISP? Upload speeds tend to be significantly slower than download speeds.

There shouldn’t be a restriction by Plex.
