So on my Samsung TV when opening certain 4K video files it just says buffering, when I then go to my server and check the status there is nothing appearing in there at all, almost like its not even accessing the file.
When I access my NAS where the 4k videos are I can access every file fine over DLNA on the TV, no issues at all.
Some 4K movies are fine but then there is a few that arent via plex, its not a network issue since I can access them via DLNA fine, everything is on a 1gbp connection.
I have a another samsung TV with the same plex version and that can play every single movie fine so I dont know what this could be other than a client issue.
I’ve reinstalled the app but it didnt make a difference.
The only other thing is I replaced my router with a Netgear Orbi but since it works on my other TV I dont think thats an issue, also since I can access some 4K films fine too so I dont think its that.
Also work nothing I direct play these and the app shows everything as true for direct playing audio/video
All movies are also stripped of subtitles and audio with only ac3 audio left.
Any ideas?
