Changing drive destination for DVR recordings

I’m now currently using two drives to store my library as one drive has filled up. I had setup the TV Shows folder on the now full drive and I have since moved some shows over to the newer drive for the overflow to make room. Now any show that runs over will error out because it’s still trying to record onto the full drive.

How can this be changed? I’ve searched and looked on the support site, but all I can find is this and it’s not helping: https://support.plex.tv/articles/225877347-live-tv-dvr/

I’ve found a couple of older posts that says this can’t be changed. Is this still an issue? Changing storage paths is basic functionality and should be able to be modified. Am I missing something here?

You must edit the record job. For libraries which span several drives, there is a selector where you can pick the drive.

Thanks for the reply. I think I see what happened. I usually select recordings through Plex Web and the new drive is the default.

I scheduled this last recording using the iOS app and just checking it again it defaults to the old drive.

Perhaps there could be a way in the iOS app going forward to have a default storage setting for recordings.

I think it will remember the last used.
