Hi, i use the Plex Server Ver 1.20.4.3517 at a Synology NAS 918+ and a AVM Fritzbox 6590 with Cable Ver 7.21. It is unsupported, but works good. But Plex dont find 3 channels (Zweite,Dmx,Pro7maxx). Knows anyone a solution?

i installed the newest Plex version 1.120.3608 but it was no changes by the tuners.
A real question: Is it so diffcult for Plex to support the AVM Cable tuner 6591 ?
I am missing 3 channels and i tested the VBOX. Only more problem with it. It is supported but there were also other channels missing.
Why can Plex make a solution for this problems? I cannot find any solution in the forums.
I am frustaded about Plex.

sorry, I do not have an answer for this, but I am really keen to get to know an answer to the original poster’s question as it also affects me:
I do have (nearly) the same configuration:
Plex Media Server 1.21.2.3943 running on a Synology DS918+ behind an AVM Fritzbox 6590 Cable.
This FritzBox streams DVB-C (Unitymedia, now Vodafone) into the network with all “free” channels - some HD, some SD.
Before getting a PlexPass in order to make use of the Plex Server DVR capabilities, I’d like to know whether this configuration works (I know, this receiver is not officially supported).

Hi Hendrik,
i have the newest plex server and the new Fritzbox Software 7.22. It works perfect.
But I have to solved my Channel problem before . The missing channels i have to correct and inside txt file into Plex Server. With Winscp you can find the place and with putty you have to login as root. Than you can edit the txt files. I got help from the synology support to access to the files, after i find the right file.

das stimmt.
Gelegentlich muß man nach dem Plex Update die Senderzuordnung neu machen.
Aber das ist easy. Wenn Du auch vermißte Sender hast ,kann ich dir weiter helfen.
