Recently I have am having issues casting with Plexamp. If is with both the IOS and Android versions. I get a message “could not switch to player”, when I check google home app it says playing Plex. I have no issues with the regular Plex app and casting, nor any other apps. This is also worked without issue until recently.
Any help would be appreciated as I prefer the Plexamp interface.

I suspect you have DNS rebind protection enabled on your LAN. The next release will make casting work under those conditions.
