Hey. New to the forums, but I’m a long time plex user. I am trying out the cinema trailer feature for new/upcoming movies to theater, but it’s showing trailers from old movies. For instance, I just had it show me the trailer for the original Jaws movie. I don’t think that’s new to theaters, lol. Is there a setting to control what trailers are shown? Thanks!
I’ve seen a thread or two about people being unable to get both of the “Cinema Trailers from new and upcoming movies” for blu-ray and theaters to work.
I don’t use trailers in front of my content. I tried to enable them to test, but can’t seem to get ANY cinema trailers to pre-play.

Jaws is being re-released this month. Probably why you saw the trailer.
Ok, thanks guys. I will keep an eye on it. Not sure I’ll keep using it though. The trailers it chooses seem to have no relevance to movie we’re going to watch. I put on a kids movie and it played a trailer for Maverick
Trailers should be matched to the age rating of the main movie.
Is this kids movie properly matched and does it have an age rating assigned to it?
If it does, from what country is this rating?
It was rated PG, not sure what country the rating is from, doesn’t say. Maverick is rated PG-13. Regardless, there should be more filtering criteria other than simply the content rating. Typically when you go to see a movie, the trailers are relevant to the movie you are going to watch. I’m not really interested in watching the trailer for a romantic comedy when I go to watch an action movie, even though they are same rating.
Hi, any chance to set some released movie trailers and some upcoming movies trailers?
In my case, plex only show me released, not upcoming movies.
