I’m using server version 1.40.2.8395 on a Mac and have a Plex pass. The only time I can get a trailer to play before a movie is if I check the Include Cinema Trailers from movies in my library box and then those are the only trailers I ever get. If I uncheck that box then no trailers play. I’ll never get a trailer that is new and upcoming on blu-ray or in theaters. It’s the same no matter which client is used. Enable cinema trailers is enabled for my movies library. Trailers are also enabled on each different Plex client I’ve tried.
New and upcoming trailers are both tied to having a Plex pass which I do have and which shows under my account page on the server. I’ve tried refreshing all metadata on my movie library but that made no difference. Any ideas of what I could be doing wrong or of some way to fix this?
