Claim Server Fails on Synology DS1522

Hello Everyone,

I’m running Plex Server 1.32.0.6918 on a Synology DS1522+, I’m trying to Claim Server but it fails every time. I’m disabled IPV6, made sure my permissions are correct, and updated my DNS setting to point to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 with no luck, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Uninstall the package – Use the “Uninstall Only” (1st button)

Now reinstall again, use the “New or Lost” servers (Plex claim token).

Here’s the how-to.

I suspect there are network configuration issues if you can’t claim it.
PMS requires constant internet to run.

Thank for the tip, I tried it but it times outs or maybe goes passed the token life.

If it’s trying to migrate a DSM 6 (Plex shared folder) installation to DSM 7 then it will very likely exceed the 4 minute token life window. You can uninstall-only + claim-token again after everything is complete.

A regular installation of the package takes less than 60 secods.

If it’s taking longer than that, there’s a networking problem.
