Claimed Server doesn't become available

Server Version#:1.17.0.1709-982421575
Player Version#: All

For the last three weeks or so, I haven’t been able to make any sort of a connection, Secure or Insecure from any Plex Apps to my Media Server. This includes Web Apps (Firefox, Safari, MS Edge), AppleTV, and iOS apps. The only message that I see is that my server is not available.

I’ve attempted to repair, re-install, refresh my media server, and nothing ever really changes. When I clear out Plex related items in my Registry, I am able to launch the bundled Web Apps that runs on 127.0.0.1 and see that my library is intact, but unclaimed. Something about going through the claiming process instead makes my server unavailable, even at the 127.0.0.1 address. What can I do to get my library back online and available through my network?

Try switching your DNS server to Google’s (usually a setting in your router).
(8.8.8.8 and/or 8.8.4.4)

I just tried this, and my results are the same.

These log lines seem relevant:

Sep 21, 2019 10:46:49.606 [3184] DEBUG - PublicAddressManager: Obtaining public IP.

Sep 21, 2019 10:46:49.637 [3184] ERROR - PublicAddressManager: Unable to get public IP adddress from myPlex (httpCode=-6):

Apparently, something is blocking plex.tv at the DNS level in your network.

I ended up doing “ipconfig /flushdns” and now my error has changed simply to “You Don’t Have Access to this server” and the server shows as unreachable, even on the 127.0.0.1 address.

this seems to be the most relevant entry in my log currently:

Still the same error. Failure to contact plex.tv
Did your ISP recently enable IPv6? Try disabling it at the network level.

I’m not sure if my ISP recently enabled IPv6. I did disable it on both my server and my router, and this doesn’t appear to have helped.

I’ve attached my latest log file since nothing jumped out at me during a cursory glance.

Still the same issue: it cannot make contact to plex.tv
Are you using any filter lists in either your router, corporate firewall or personal firewall?
Any 3rd party anti virus software?
