Classic Doctor Who No Metadata

Hi I read all the other posts of people having problems and tried moving out my files, renaming my files to this:

Then I did the plex dance without missing any steps and re-added the files.
Now its still missing the metadata. Not sure what to try next?

I have mine named in a similar fashion:

Doctor Who (1963)
  Season 01
    Doctor Who (1963) - s01e01 - An Unearthly Child (1) An Unearthly Child.mkv
    Doctor Who (1963) - s01e02 - An Unearthly Child (2) The Cave of Skulls
    etc...

and they are matched (although they were added a while ago now)

But from recent experience there is currently an issue with the TV Scanner not working very well at the moment…

You could try going to the top level of the Show and trying a manual Match or Fix Match depending which opion it shows you.

Then enter the TVDB ID 76107 in the seach box

Try performing a Fix Match. If the automatic search does not find the correct series, search using the show ID, 76107, instead of the title, and leave the date field empty. Here’s an example.

Gah… that was it… I forgot you can search by ID and searching by name wasn’t doing it.

To add to this, as Plex uses TheTVDB to match, the classic is just named “Doctor Who” while the new one is “Doctor Who (2005)” on their end, the year is likely what was causing you issues.
