My files are named like this:
…\Doctor Who Scream of the Shalka (2003)\Doctor Who Scream of the Shalka - S01E01.mp4
But it’s unable to match the series - I’ve tried searching lots of things… “Doctor Who”, “Doctor Who Scream of the Shalka”, “Scream of the Shalka”, etc. Nothing is working. It either finds nothing, or the normal Doctor Who series.
Note there is some incorrect metadata in the files (not sure why it’s suddenly insisting on using metadata), but the manual match should have worked.
I have now got that series matching correctly (and yes, that was directly below one of the top level folders for the library). I’ve also since put the files in “Season 01” just to be complete.
But the first six episodes of Doctor Who (1963) now have incorrect names, and I can’t seem to fix it.
Because of the incorrect metatags, the episodes from Scream of the Shalka got stacked onto Doctor Who - using the names “Scream of the Shalka (n)” (n=1 to 6).
I moved both series away from Plex, Scanned Library Files, Emptied Trash (that worked for the other series), and then even restarted Plex once everything was finished. I couldn’t find “Clean Bundles” though from that link. Not sure if that’s now some other action?
Anyway, I moved both series back, and everything is correct except for those first six episodes, which are correctly being identified as Season 01 of Doctor Who, but using the title and release date from Scream of the Shalka - though somehow the correct Summary for Season 1 of Doctor Who.
I will try just manually updating the titles and dates as it’s only six episodes, but it’s a bit concerning that it’s insisting on using the wrong info - which doesn’t actually even match anything from TheTVDB (In the scream of the Shalka, they are just called “Episode 1”, etc. So those names must have come from the metatags which I’ve since removed.
