I have all my data on external drives. I am trying to make sure the data inside plex UI is backed up. As far as the collections, naming, tags and artwork that i have changed are all saved. I see i am supposed to end plex before doing the wipe and export the registry. That I found here.
Does anyone have a How to Plex and Windows Clean Install for Dummies?

I’m doing a clean install on W10 and want to make sure I don’t lose all the edited artwork, collections data, naming, tags, etc. Thought maybe someone in the community would have some experience with this.
You have already found a link to the most important instructions. I thought you were asking about how to clean out any traces of Plex.
What were you actually asking about?
I have maybe a cumulative 5-10 hours into:
-making sure is media is named correctly
-setting up collections for many movies series
-making sure media is tagged correctly
-editing poster art to be accurate to movies/shows
I am going to do a clean install of windows 10. All the actual data files are on externals. My concern is loosing all the little things I have done *
